Brenda D. Spencer

Brenda D. Spencer is the founder, CEO, and president of Spencer 4 Higher Media LLC, a multicultural advertising, marketing, media buying, special events, education, life skills, and sales training agency. With over 40 years of advertising experience, she has generated millions of Dollars in media sales.

Brenda is the founder and creator of the Annual Caring for the Caregiver Expo, held annually in Columbus, Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio, which will expand to Dayton and Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2027-2028. The Annual Caring for the Caregiver Expo also has plans to expand to other Cities throughout the United States, including Detroit, DC, Atlanta, Baton Rouge, Philly, Tampa and many other cities in years to come.

She was the first African American president of the American Women in Radio and Television, Buckeye Chapter (2000–2005). She is a published author and speaker, was selected as the 2015 Entrepreneur of the Year from Increase CDC, and received the 2018 Business Award for her book, “A Tribute to African Americans.” Spencer 4 Higher Media is listed as one of the Top 50 Minority-Owned Businesses in Central Ohio by Business First Columbus. Brenda serves as an Instructor at the Ohio Media School, handles advertising for the Ohio Sickle Cell and Health Association, the Ohio Lottery’s multicultural radio advertising campaigns, Faith Ministries Church, 4Power Tax, Impact Community Action and The Ohio Black Expo also works with the King Arts Complex Heritage Concert Series, and has hosted special events and Television advertising campaigns for TourismOhio.

Brenda is a member of Faith Ministries Church and serves as the Chair of the Business Networking Ministry. Her past and present Clients include Franklin County Office on Aging, Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging, The Ohio State University, Ohio Lottery, TourismOhio, Caresource, Mt. Carmel Healthcare Systems, Dedicated Senior Medical Center, Molina Health Care, Tyler Perry Plays, and many others.
